Continuing to extend the support and solidarity of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai province to northern localities affected by recent natural disasters, on the morning of November 4, a working delegation of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, led by Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Dong Nai Delegation to the National Assembly, visited Bac Ninh province to deliver financial assistance.
Welcoming and working with the delegation were Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, along with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Police Department.
During the meeting, leaders of the two provinces exchanged information on local developments following the recent administrative restructuring at the provincial level. They discussed key achievements in politics, economy, culture, and society, as well as the opportunities and challenges emerging in the new development context.

Vu Hong Van expressed his delight at Bac Ninh Province’s achievements in recent years, particularly in restructuring and streamlining the organizational apparatus, maintaining political stability, improving people’s livelihoods, and promoting socio-economic development, especially in industrial growth and attracting foreign direct investment.
The Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee noted that, through various media channels, officials, Party members, and residents of Dong Nai have been following with deep concern the severe storms and flooding that recently affected northern provinces, including Bac Ninh.
Out of solidarity and compassion, and with the hope that Bac Ninh will soon resume production and stabilize residents' lives, Dong Nai province mobilized resources to allocate 6 billion VND in financial aid to support Bac Ninh’s recovery from the recent floods and natural disasters. Additionally, 1 billion VND was contributed to assist the families of officers and soldiers from the Bac Ninh Provincial Police affected by the flooding.

On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Bac Ninh province, Nguyen Hong Thai expressed sincere gratitude for the heartfelt support from Dong Nai. He affirmed that this timely assistance serves as both encouragement and a noble gesture, reflecting the long-standing tradition of solidarity and mutual support among the Vietnamese people.
The Bac Ninh Party Secretary noted that, thanks to proactive leadership and coordinated action by local forces and residents, the province minimized damage caused by the recent natural disasters. He emphasized that the support from Dong Nai would provide valuable additional resources to help Bac Ninh accelerate recovery efforts.
Nguyen Hong Thai also expressed his hope that in the coming time, the two provinces will further strengthen cooperation, exchange experiences, and enhance mutual support across various fields, especially in leadership and governance. This endeavor will help deepen the bond of solidarity and friendship between the two localities.
The Dong Nai delegation will continue its relief activities in northern provinces affected by natural disasters in the coming days.
