On November 28, in Hanoi, Kinh te & Do thi (Economic and Urban Affairs) Newspaper, in collaboration with ActionAid International in Vietnam and the Vietnam Social Welfare Program and Project Support Fund (AFV), held a conference to partially review a five-year implementation of media program “Silent Contributions” (2021–2025) and presented awards for the 2025 “Silent Contributions” Writing Contest.

After launching the contest for nearly seven months, the organizers received 581 entries, including 450 professional works and 131 non-professional works. Following two rounds, preliminary and final, the organizers selected 10 high-quality professional entries for the final round to compete for awards: 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes, and 5 consolation prizes. Among them, Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television received a consolation prize for their three-part electronic article series titled “Ethnic minority women at the threshold of digital transformation”, authored by the group of Nguyen Thi Tuyet and Nguyen Thi Hoa.
According to the organizers, the entries vividly and comprehensively reflected all aspects of everyday life through innovative and modern forms. Many works demonstrated thorough, multidimensional analysis, showcasing the depth of information, knowledge, and understanding of the respective fields by the authors or groups of authors.
