Dong Nai authorities held a ceremony on the afternoon of November 17 to grant the investment registration certificate to the AeonMall Bien Hoa trade center project (AeonMall Bien Hoa) to the investor, AeonMall Vietnam Co., Ltd., a Japanese enterprise.
Attending the ceremony and presenting the certificate was Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, Nguyen Kim Long. Also present were Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Finance Department, Truong Thi Huong Binh, along with leaders of various provincial departments and agencies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Nguyen Kim Long extended warm and sincere congratulations to AeonMall Vietnam for choosing Dong Nai as a strategic investment destination.

Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Kim Long emphasized that the AeonMall project requires a total investment of more than 6,000 billion VND (approximately 261 million USD). According to him, this is not only an impressive figure but also carries strategic significance in promoting the province’s economic restructuring.

The project reflects Dong Nai’s strong commitment to expanding the trade and services sector, moving toward a more balanced and sustainable economic structure consistent with its role as a gateway province of the southern key economic region. The presence of a leading global retail brand like AeonMall is expected to provide nearly 4.5 million Dong Nai residents with an international-standard destination for shopping, entertainment, and dining – one that is modern, convenient, and of top quality. Beyond being a commercial center, the project is also envisioned as a new architectural landmark, contributing to a more dynamic and modern urban landscape for Dong Nai.

AeonMall Bien Hoa covers more than 10 hectares on Dang Van Tron Street in Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province. The project has been licensed for the construction and operation of a multi-service trade center and office complex, including food and beverage services, children's play areas (excluding prize-rewarding electronic games), office leasing, rental of retail booths and fully developed commercial spaces, leasing and subleasing of premises, warehouses, auditoriums, and other facilities within the center.

In addition, AeonMall Bien Hoa will be permitted to perform import, export, and wholesale distribution rights (without establishing wholesale outlets) and retail distribution rights (without establishing retail outlets) in accordance with Vietnamese law.
