Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee calls for support for flood-affected communities

On November 10, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai Province, Vice Chairwoman Luu Thi Ha received a VND 100 million donation from the H-D Dong Sai Gon Motorcycle Club. The contribution was made in response to the Dong Nai VFF Committee’s call for support to assist residents in provinces and cities heavily affected by recent flooding.

Vice Chairwoman Luu Thi Ha expressed her appreciation to the H-D Dong Sai Gon Motorcycle Club for their solidarity, noting that following Tropical Storm No. 10, northern and central provinces have continued to suffer heavy losses due to storms No. 11 and No. 12, as well as prolonged flooding. These natural disasters have caused severe damage to lives, property, and livelihoods.

Upholding the spirit of mutual support and compassion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province has issued an official appeal for donations to assist residents in the northern and central regions, which have been heavily affected by recent storms and floods.

The committee is calling on government agencies, organizations, businesses, religious groups, the armed forces, public officials, employees, students, and people from all walks of life across the province to contribute according to their means. The aim is to help affected communities recover from the disasters and quickly restore their daily lives and production.
