Dong Nai donates VND 6 billion to Cao Bang for post-disaster recovery

On the afternoon of November 6, a Dong Nai Province delegation, led by Duong Minh Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, and Chairperson of the Long Thanh Commune People’s Council, visited Cao Bang Province to deliver financial aid for post-disaster recovery and hold working sessions. The delegation included Truong Thi Huong Binh, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Dong Nai Department of Finance, along with other officials.

They were joined in the working session by Vu Khac Quang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang Province, along with other delegates.

On behalf of the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province, Duong Minh Dung presented 6 billion VND to support Cao Bang Province in overcoming the consequences of recent natural disasters. He extended his sympathies to the provincial leadership and people of Cao Bang for the damages suffered while expressing his hope that, under the leadership of the provincial Party Committee, the administration's effective governance, and the strength of national unity, Cao Bang will soon recover, advance socio-economic development, and improve the quality of life for its residents.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vu Khac Quang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang Province, expressed his deep gratitude to Dong Nai Province for its support, which has contributed to helping Cao Bang promptly overcome the aftermath of the recent natural disasters. He also expressed the hope that Dong Nai will continue to advance across all fields and achieve the goals and resolutions set by its First Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
