Digital transformation cooperation, implementation of e-invoices for business households

On the afternoon of November 26, the Dong Nai Tax Department held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on digital transformation and the implementation of electronic invoices (e-invoices) for business households, with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) Dong Nai branch and Vietcombank (VCB) Bien Hoa Branch.

The cooperation signing between the Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department, VNPT Dong Nai branch, and VCB Bien Hoa branch aims to strengthen communication, deployment, support, and guidance for business households on tax policies, as well as the operation and proficient use of e-invoices, including tax-authority-coded e-invoices and e-invoices generated from cash registers. The tax departments will coordinate with VNPT to guide accounting book regulations for business households under the declaration method and provide related service packages.

For VCB Bien Hoa branch, the signing ceremony focuses on cooperation in implementing preferential service packages for business households, while offering guidance, resolving questions, and assisting them in better accessing the bank’s online financial services.

The parties at the signing ceremony were committed to supporting consultation, implementing solutions, and coordinating with the tax authority in communicating regulatory updates and guiding business households to master procedures related to e-invoices, the transition to tax declaration methods, and non-cash payments.

To achieve these objectives, the Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department will work closely and coordinate with VNPT Dong Nai and VCB Bien Hoa to communicate and disseminate new tax policies to all business households across 11 local tax offices. They will provide consulting and professional guidance on registering and issuing e-invoices (including tax-authority-coded e-invoices and e-invoices generated from cash registers). They were also committed to offering preferential pricing for products such as software generating e-invoices from cash registers, sales management software for business households, digital signatures, point-of-sale devices, e-invoices…

The Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department and the partnering units will establish channels for receiving information, offering technical support, and promptly addressing inquiries from business households across Dong Nai throughout the implementation period, while maintaining customer support services afterwards. In addition, they will assign personnel to support all 11 local tax offices and deploy sufficient resources in terms of quantity and quality to ensure the smooth completion of all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Toan Thang, Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department, emphasized that the tax sector has long coordinated with solution providers to implement tax policies for taxpayers. He highly appreciated the cooperation of partner units that have accompanied the tax sector in digital transformation and transitioning to tax declaration methods. He expressed hope that the collaboration would continue, allowing tax policies and the guidelines of the Party and the State to reach business households and taxpayers more quickly.
