On the morning of November 28, Lac Hong University, in collaboration with the Vietnam – South Korea Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province and the Gyeongsangnam Province Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, organized a program introducing study abroad opportunities in Gyeongsangnam Province, South Korea.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Vietnam – South Korea Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province, Huynh Thanh Binh, along with more than 300 students from across the province. This is the first time a large-scale program introducing study abroad opportunities in South Korea was held in Dong Nai.

The program was attended by representatives from 4 universities in Gyeongsangnam Province, including Changwon National University, Namhae University, Geochang University, and Gyeongnam Elevator Technical University. The representatives of the universities provided detailed introductions to their academic programs, facilities, support policies, and incentives for international students, such as tuition discounts, free dormitory accommodation, and connections with local businesses after graduation.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Rector of Lac Hong University, emphasized the importance of expanding international educational cooperation, especially with South Korea, a country offering numerous programs to support international students and an advanced educational environment.
Mr. Park Sung Jin, Head of the Gyeongsangnam Province Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, expressed his commitment to closely cooperate with Dong Nai Province in training activities, educational exchanges, and human resource development.
Within the framework of the program, Gyeongsangnam Province awarded a scholarship worth 5 million VND to Binh An High School to support and encourage students in their studies.
