On October 2, the Youth Union of Regiment 3 under Division 9, Corps 34, stationed in Dong Nai Province, held its congress for the 2025–2030 term. The event was selected as a model for drawing lessons for Youth Union organizations across Division 9. Colonel Pham Van Hong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of Division 9, attended and guided the experience-sharing process.

During the 2022-2025 term, under the direct leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the Command of Regiment 3, the grassroots Youth Union of Regiment 3 operated effectively, promoting the pioneering and creative spirit of the youth, tackling key targets and tasks, and contributing to the achievements of Regiment 3, the heroic Hoa Lu Regiment.

During the term, the unit organized political theory and thematic education sessions for more than 6,100 Youth Union members. It effectively implemented the program "Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology, Morality, and Lifestyle" in conjunction with the campaign "Promoting Tradition, Contributing Talent, Living Up to the Title of Ho Chi Minh Soldiers." The unit also stepped up its research and innovation efforts, resulting in 28 initiatives, models, and devices that were applied to enhance the overall quality of training.

Speaking at the congress, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Hiep, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Regiment 3, emphasized: In the new term, with the requirements to build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army, and the task of developing a comprehensively strong regiment as a “model example” set ever higher, the demands of the digital transformation revolution require the Regiment’s Youth Union and youth movement to continue innovating in content and methods of operation; to promote the energy, intelligence, pioneering spirit, and creativity of the youth, contributing actively to the fulfillment of the unit’s overall missions.

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Hiep called on grassroots Youth Union branches to focus on effectively implementing five core tasks. These include the regular education and training of Youth Union members to build strong political will and a steadfast commitment to the goal of national independence associated with socialism; fostering a high sense of revolutionary vigilance; and maintaining readiness to take on and excel in assigned duties.

In addition, it is necessary to promote the revolutionary action movement, focusing on the campaign “Youth of the regiment cultivating virtue, honing talent, taking pioneering actions, being creative, worthy of the title of Ho Chi Minh Soldiers in the new era,” associated with the campaign “Promoting tradition, contributing talent, worthy of the title of Ho Chi Minh Soldiers in the new era.”
The congress elected a new Executive Committee of 10 members. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ba At, Deputy Chief of the Political Department of Regiment 3, was elected Secretary of the regiment’s Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term.
After the congress, Colonel Pham Van Hong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of Division 9, presided over a review session for grassroots Youth Unions across the division to ensure the successful organization of the 2025-2030 term congresses.
