Xuan Loc commune holds first Women's Congress for 2025-2030 term

On October 14 and 15, the Women's Union of Xuan Loc commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

The event was attended by Ngo Thi An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Xuan Loc Commune Party Committee; members of the communal Party Standing Board and Party Executive Committee; former leaders of the communal Women’s Union throughout periods; and 120 official delegates representing over 12,000 women members across the commune.

Over the past term, the Xuan Loc Women's Union has continuously innovated and enhanced its operations, achieving significant and positive outcomes. Emulation movements such as "Women actively study, work creatively, and build happy families"; "Building the image of Vietnamese women in the new era"; and "Women nurture the good values of the Vietnamese family" have gained substantial depth, serving as a powerful driving force for women's advancement and making meaningful contributions to the commune's new-style rural development and urban civilization programs.

The Union successfully fulfilled and exceeded all 14 targets set in the resolution of the 2021-2026 Congress, with several indicators greatly surpassing expectations. Models such as “5 No’s, 3 Clean’s” branches in connection with advanced new-style rural development, women’s mutual economic support groups, “Green - Clean - Beautiful” branches, Women’s flower streets, Compassion houses, and Women’s creative startups, have demonstrated the sustainability and strong influence of the Union’s movement.

Notably, the Union mobilized resources to build 17 charity houses worth a total of 940 million VND, awarded 77 Nguyen Thi Dinh scholarships to the members’ children who excel academically despite hardships, and effectively implemented support programs for women’s entrepreneurship, economic development, and enhancement of integration capacity.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Xuan Loc Women’s Union has set forth six groups of basic targets and identified breakthrough areas, including: accelerating digital transformation within the Union; supporting women in enhancing digital capabilities; promoting entrepreneurship and economic development; and advancing gender equality across various fields, contributing to the implementation of the National strategy on gender equality.

The congress announced the decision of the Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union’s Standing Board to appoint the Executive Committee of the first Xuan Loc Commune Women’s Union for the 2025-2030 term with a total of 27 members, including a 9-member Standing Board. Nguyen Thi Mai was appointed President of the Xuan Loc Commune Women’s Union.

Additionally, the congress announced the decision on appointing five delegates to attend the first Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Union for the 2025-2030 term.
