Warmth from the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” program in Tho Son

On October 4, at Doan Duc Thai Primary and Secondary School (Tho Son commune, Dong Nai province), Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, in coordination with sponsoring organizations and local authorities, held the 2025 “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” program for disadvantaged children in remote, rural, and border areas of the province.

At the event, the organizers presented gifts to 50 children in especially difficult circumstances in Tho Son commune. Each gift set, valued at approximately 350,000 VND, included mooncakes, lanterns, milk, and assorted sweets. In addition, 15 scholarships worth 1 million VND each were awarded to students who have overcome hardship to achieve strong academic performance. The funding was mobilized by the Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television through support from sponsors and donors.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, a representative of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television stated that the program is part of a series of activities in 2025 by Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television to provide care, gifts, and scholarships for children. The program holds practical significance, reflecting the deep compassion and social responsibility of journalists and staff at Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television toward disadvantaged children across the province. Through this initiative, the aim is to foster a spirit of solidarity and mutual support throughout society in joining hands to care for poor children, children in difficult circumstances, and children of ethnic minorities in remote, rural, and border areas during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
