A delegation from the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Khai, Deputy Director of the Institute, paid a working visit to Dong Nai University on October 29.
The working delegation was received by Dr. Nguyen Van Toan, Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council, and Dr. Dang Anh Tuan, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Principal in charge of the university.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed and reached a consensus on several matters of cooperation in scientific research, technology, and training in the coming period.
In particular, both parties agreed to collaborate on implementing scientific and technological tasks in the fields of nuclear engineering, radiation safety, and interdisciplinary applications to support socio-economic development in Dong Nai Province. They also plan to jointly organize scientific events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and training courses on nuclear science, engineering, technology, radiation safety, and other basic scientific fields, in accordance with the functions and responsibilities of each institution.

The two institutions also discussed plans for faculty and researcher cooperation and exchange, as well as the sharing of teaching and research equipment, and creating opportunities for lecturers and students of Dong Nai University to visit, intern, and gain hands-on experience at VINATOM’s affiliated units.

In addition, both sides discussed the possibility of establishing an Atomic Energy Communication Center at Dong Nai University. The university also expressed its desire to collaborate with VINATOM in activities supporting the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Center Project in Dong Nai province.
