Vibrant ao dai and ba ba blouse contest among female Trade Union members and workers

On the afternoon of October 11, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation organized the 2025 Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) and ba ba blouse fashion contest for female Trade Union members and workers.

The contest is part of the event series “Dong Nai Women - Confident Integration,” held to celebrate the success of the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, the Dong Nai Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress, and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930-2025).

After more than two months since its launch, the contest has attracted 65 teams with nearly 500 participants from 55 grassroots trade unions at agencies and enterprises across Dong Nai province. Teams competed in two segments: the introduction round and the ao dai and ba ba blouse fashion show. The organizers will select the 30 top-performing teams to advance to the final round, scheduled for October 20, 2025.

Speaking at the event, Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, emphasized that the contest serves not only as a cultural activity to honor the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women but also as an opportunity for female Trade Union members and workers to showcase their confidence, dynamism, and creativity, contributing to spreading the image of Dong Nai women as “graceful, intellectual, and integrated” in the new era.

The organizers hope that through the contest, each team will deliver impressive performances that express their love for the homeland, national pride, and the cultural beauty of Vietnamese women.
