Various competitions held for Youth Union members and workers on Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20)

On October 18, amid the vibrant competitive atmosphere celebrating Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20), Trade Unions at all levels across the province organized a variety of meaningful contests that attracted a large number of Youth Union members and workers to participate in.

At Dona Pacific Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh commune), the cooking contest for workers organized by the grassroots Trade Union created a lively atmosphere with 37 teams representing different production workshops. Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation, attended the event together with the workers.

At the contest, amateur chefs who are factory workers and office staff worked together to develop ideas, prepare ingredients, and create signature dishes that reflected their unique styles. Each dish was beautifully presented and, above all, conveyed the affections and bonds among team members.

The organizers awarded one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, four fourth prizes, and several consolation prizes.

To provide a meaningful activity for female workers on the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20), the grassroots Trade Union of Dona Victor Footwear Co., Ltd. (Song May Industrial Park) organized a cooking contest featuring 31 teams. The contestants skillfully prepared dishes that were both delicious and visually appealing, showcasing the traditional flavors of their homeland.

Many teams showcased their creativity in their presentations, blending culinary skills with decorative artistry. At the end of the contest, the organizers presented awards to all 31 participating teams.

On the same day, the grassroots Trade Union of Longwell Co., Ltd. (Dau Giay commune) organized an artistic flower arrangement contest for workers to honor the beauty, ingenuity, and creativity of female employees across the entire unit. The event attracted 21 teams from various groups, workshops and departments in the company. Each team was given 60 minutes to complete their flower arrangement. Through skillful hands and vivid imagination, a variety of fresh flower artworks were created, bringing fresh, diverse and meaningful colors. At the end of the contest, the organizers presented first, second, and third prizes, along with several consolation prizes, to the most outstanding works.

According to the grassroots Trade Union of Longwell Co., Ltd., the flower arrangements not only demonstrated delicate craftsmanship but also conveyed profound messages of love for the homeland and country, gratitude toward Vietnamese women, as well as the pride of workers in the renewal era. On this occasion, the grassroots Trade Union also presented awards for the Photo Contest featuring female workers.

The grassroots Trade Union of the Long Khanh Regional Medical Center organized a gathering for female Youth Union members and the 2025 Karaoke Singing Contest themed “Songs about President Ho Chi Minh, the Love for the Homeland, the Country, and the Vietnamese People.” The contest attracted 24 participants competing in solo and duet categories.

The performances were diverse, expressing love for the homeland, the country, faith in the Party and in the cause of national renewal. As a result, the organizers awarded 16 prizes to participating contestants. The contest aimed to create a healthy recreational activity, enhance workers’ spiritual well-being, and identify and nurture artistic talents among the employees.
