Training on productivity and quality for schools

On the morning of October 3, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology organized a training course on productivity, quality, and the Productivity and Quality Clubs model in schools.

During the program, experts shared knowledge and skills related to productivity and quality for students, lecturers, and staff at educational institutions across the province. The initiative aims to promote the establishment and sustainability of productivity and quality clubs in schools, thereby fostering a culture of learning, creativity, and innovation.

Currently, Dong Nai has established two Productivity and Quality Clubs at Dong Nai College of High Technology and Lilama 2 International Technology College. Through the 2024 student competition “Exploring knowledge on productivity and quality”, Dong Nai College of High Technology won first prize, while Lilama 2 International Technology College received a consolation award.

According to Pham Van Trinh, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, after nearly five years of implementing the National Program to support enterprises in improving productivity and product quality based on science, technology, and innovation, the province has achieved significant results. Many businesses have received support to invest in modern machinery and equipment; numerous agricultural production areas have been certified under VietGAP and GLOBALG.A.P. standards; and activities related to traceability and the development of OCOP products have been strongly promoted.
