Thousands of Youth Union members and workers’ children in Dong Nai celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival

On the evening of October 4, numerous grassroots Trade Unions at enterprises across Dong Nai organized Mid-Autumn Festival events for the children of workers and laborers.

Specifically, the grassroots Trade Union of Dona Pacific Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh commune, Dong Nai province) organized a Full Moon Festival Night, welcoming 5,000 children of the company's workers. Throughout the event, the children enjoyed lion dances, received gifts, participated in interactive games with prizes, took part in a star lantern parade, and experienced a variety of cultural performances.

Earlier, the company’s Trade Union also presented mooncakes to its Youth Union members and employees on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Notably, this year, the grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee organized a lantern-making contest, with 20 teams from different production workshops participating.

Tra Lam Thao, General Director of Administration at Dona Pacific Co., Ltd., stated that the Full Moon Festival Night program was a meaningful event, creating a joyful and enriching playground for workers’ children during the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival. The initiative reflected the care of both the company and the Trade Union for employees' children, while also expressing appreciation for the contributions of all staff and workers. The company hopes that employees will view the workplace as their second home, enabling them to work productively and maintain stable incomes, which in turn will allow them to better care for their children, the future generation.

*On the same evening, the grassroots Trade Union of Dona Victor Footwear Co., Ltd. (Song May Industrial Park, Binh Minh commune, Dong Nai province) also organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program for thousands of workers’ children across the company.

At the program, children participated in a variety of exciting activities, including children's playground games, folk games, and a Mid-Autumn feast. The program also showcased musical and artistic performances, featuring children’s singing and dancing, circus acts, magic shows, a lantern parade, and the distribution of many appealing gifts. On this occasion, the grassroots Trade Union presented 130 gifts to workers facing challenging circumstances.
