On the afternoon of October 24, a signing ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh City to formalize a cooperation agreement between the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and the Dong Nai Business Federation.

The objective of this partnership is to facilitate regular information exchange on development orientations, policy issues, and economic investment projects in both localities, enabling businesses from each side to explore investment opportunities, expand production, and improve business performance. Based on the spirit of voluntary cooperation for mutual growth, the Ho Chi Minh City SME Association and the Dong Nai Business Federation agreed on several key areas of collaboration.

Specifically, the cooperation involves supporting Dong Nai enterprises with logistics services, such as seaports and warehousing in Ho Chi Minh City; providing investment and service support to attract capital into industrial parks and economic zones (IPs and EZs); and exploring joint venture partnerships in construction projects. The partnership also includes collaboration in tourism, product promotion between the two localities, and the organization of group travel and accommodation services. Both sides will also facilitate product introduction and market linkage efforts to promote sales for local enterprises.

Each year, based on the actual situation, the Ho Chi Minh City SME Association and the Dong Nai Business Federation will jointly develop detailed plans to effectively implement cooperative, networking, and mutual support activities.

As the country’s leading economic center, Ho Chi Minh City plays a pivotal role in national development, while Dong Nai ranks among the top provinces in terms of economic scale. Together, the two localities are home to hundreds of thousands of active businesses, the majority of which are small and medium-sized enterprises. Strengthening connections in trade, cooperation, and market linkages, as well as supporting one another in gradually integrating into production supply chains, is a vital strategy for fostering a thriving business community and enhancing the competitiveness of both regional and national economies.
