On October 15, the first Women’s Congress of Binh Tan commune, Dong Nai province for the 2025-2030 term took place, with the participation of 112 delegates representing more than 2,980 members of the Women’s Union across the commune. The congress was attended by leaders of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Tan commune.

The Women’s Union of Binh Tan commune currently has 24 branches with 2,981 members, including 564 core members. During the past term, women’s movements and union’s activities were vibrant, attracting wide participation from various groups of women. The union successfully achieved all eight targets set for the term. Notably, it supported women in accessing preferential loans to develop their economy and escape poverty or near-poverty, benefiting 25 households with a total loan of 2.5 billion VND. Additionally, 276 member households met the “5 Nos, 3 Cleans Family” standards.
With the motto “Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Development,” the congress reflected the will, aspirations, and determination of Binh Tan women in the new period, setting 14 key targets. In the coming term, the union aims to continue promoting autonomy, spirit of innovation, creativity, and the aspiration to rise among women of all classes, while enhancing their role in participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system. It also seeks to mobilize the whole community’s participation for the comprehensive development of women and the sustainable growth of the locality

The congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union to appoint personnel to the Executive Committee of the Binh Tan Commune Women's Union for its first term (2025-2030), consisting of 25 members. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Tan commune, was appointed as President of the Women’s Union of Binh Tan commune for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, three official delegates were designated to attend the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
