Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the event continues the resounding success of the exhibition of national achievements themed “80-Year Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness”, which fostered national pride and spread the Vietnamese spirit of patriotism, self-reliance, resilience, and a strong aspiration for progress of the nation.

The Autumn Fair is not only a national-scale event but also reaches an international level, honoring outstanding Vietnamese products and brands that embody the nation’s identity and intellect. The event contributes to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of “Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods,” and promoting trade, investment, and international integration, toward achieving an economic growth rate of over 8% in 2025 and double-digit growth in the following years.

With the theme and message “Connecting People with Production and Business,” the first Autumn Fair 2025 is being held on a larger scale than ever, featuring more than 130,000 square meters of exhibition space. The fair features five thematic zones and approximately 3,000 booths representing 34 provinces and cities, as well as central ministries and sectors, along with over 2,500 Vietnamese and international organizations and enterprises. The event has also attracted a large number of global partners and friends, who have showcased their products, engaged in trade, and explored opportunities for cooperation and investment.

Appreciating the fair for being successfully organized for the first time despite the short preparation time and heavy workload, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh noted that the event has achieved the “six bests” – the most enormous scale, the most modern space, the most diverse products, the highest quality, the most engaging activities, and the best incentives.

The fair serves as a vivid and convincing demonstration of Vietnam’s spirit of integration, outstanding capabilities, breakthrough aspirations, and contemporary stature. At the same time, it provides a favorable opportunity to harmoniously and effectively combine trade, investment, tourism promotion, and cultural exchange activities, showcasing the image of the Vietnamese land and people. It is also a platform where domestic and international resources are connected, investment cooperation is expanded, trade is fostered, and consumption is unleashed.

The Prime Minister also underlined that the fair serves as an essential bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to deepen global economic integration, exchange experiences, and acquire advanced technologies, especially in digital transformation, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy, and knowledge-based economy, contributing to the realization of the nation’s two centennial goals for a peaceful, prosperous, civilised and happy Vietnam.

He emphasized that the Autumn Fair 2025 will create a new platform for connection between businesses and consumers, between Vietnam and the world, and between people and production and business activities. More importantly, it is a place where “creativity begins – intelligence shines – knowledge is shared – courage is affirmed – and pride spreads,” reflecting the spirit of “a facilitating State – pioneering enterprises – public-private partnership – prosperous nation – happy people.”

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the business community, compatriots and soldiers nationwide to join hands in supporting people in flood-hit areas, upholding the noble gesture of national solidarity and compassion.
