Pilot Congress of the Farmers’ Association of Binh Loc Ward, for 2025–2030 term

On the morning of October 3, the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term at the Hall of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation. The event was chosen by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association as a pilot congress. Its successful organization will serve as a reference for other wards and communes to hold their congresses, contributing to the success of the upcoming Provincial Farmers’ Association Congress.

Attending the event were Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Dong Nai Province, and Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Farmers’ Association; leaders of Binh Loc Ward; and all 120 official delegates representing 2,321 members across the ward.

During the 2023–2025 period, the Association’s work and the farmers’ movement in the ward achieved many notable results. The Association admitted 450 new members, established 4 new branches, 20 professional associations, and 9 cooperatives. It organized 32 training conferences with the participation of more than 2,300 officials and farmer members. More than 500 farming households applied digital technology in production, including e-diaries, QR code traceability, and automated irrigation systems.

In addition, the Association mobilized resources to build 12 charity houses with a total value of VND 1.4 billion and delivered more than 1,300 gifts worth over VND 600 million to disadvantaged households. Association members and farmers actively joined local authorities in developing rural infrastructure, contributing over VND 4 billion, more than 31,000 square meters of land, and more than 1,200 working days…

The Congress reached consensus on its action program, congress program as well as the report on the implementation results of the resolution of the Congress of the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward for the period 2023-2025, while also setting out orientations, goals, and tasks of the association's work and the farmers' movement in Binh Loc Ward for the term 2025-2030.

The congress announced the personnel appointment decisions on the first 19-member Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward, with the Standing Committee including 5 comrades. Comrade Hoang Duc Liem holds the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Binh Loc Ward for the 2025-2030 term. The congress announced the decisions and appointed 4 delegates to attend the Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Farmers' Association.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers’ Association Nguyen Huu Nguyen emphasized that in the coming time, the Farmers’ Association of Binh Loc Ward should continue building a strong organization that serves as a reliable support for farmers, playing a key role in building and consolidating the great national unity bloc. The Association must act as a bridge closely connecting farmers with the Party and authorities; actively promote communication and mobilization so members and people follow the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws - especially policies on agricultural development, new rural construction, and civilized urbanization. It should also continue to innovate content and operational methods, placing members at the center, while promoting the spirit of “Listening to farmers, speaking so farmers understand, and doing so farmers trust.”
