On October 8, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) branch in Dong Nai province (Dong Nai-based VBSP) held a conference to evaluate the results of policy credit activities during the first nine months of 2025 and to outline tasks for the remaining months of the year.

According to Le Ba Chuyen, Director of the VBSP branch in Dong Nai province, the total policy credit capital has reached over 11.7 trillion VND, an increase of 1.18 trillion VND compared to the beginning of the year. Over the past nine months, about 49,800 poor households and other policy beneficiaries have received loans totaling nearly 3 trillion VND. As a result, the total number of customers currently borrowing policy capital has risen to more than 212,600, with total loans exceeding 11.7 trillion VND.

According to Le Ba Chuyen, since the beginning of the year, particularly after the implementation of the two-tier local government model, the VBSP branch in Dong Nai province has maintained 100% of its transaction points, operating smoothly and safely. The branch has closely coordinated with entrusted socio-political organizations and relevant units to review eligible borrowers and loan demand across the province. All 21 transaction offices have been rated as performing well.

At the conference, the VBSP branch in Dong Nai province also outlined several key tasks for the remaining months of 2025. These include continuing to coordinate with relevant units to advise Party committees and local authorities at all levels on the effective implementation of policy credit programs.
The branch will strive to effectively implement and fulfill the 2025 targets for outstanding loan growth and capital mobilization from organizations and individuals. It will focus on reviewing eligible borrowers and loan applications to ensure timely disbursement, particularly for low-income households, near-poor households, newly escaped from poverty households, students, social housing beneficiaries, and individuals who have completed their prison terms, ensuring that loans are granted to the right beneficiaries in accordance with regulations.
The branch will strengthen and effectively carry out remote inspections and supervision, proactively utilizing and analyzing data to detect, address, and promptly correct shortcomings and errors. It will also enhance political and ideological education for staff, and promote communication on building and improving cultural life and professional ethics within the organization.

On this occasion, the Director of the VBSP branch in Dong Nai province presented awards to 26 collectives for their outstanding performance in implementing policy credit activities.
