More than 200 students from primary and secondary schools, art talent classes at the Dong Nai Young Pioneer Palace, young art enthusiasts, and children of Japanese citizens residing and working in Dong Nai province participated in the contest. The entries, created on A3-sized paper, closely followed the theme by illustrating cultural symbols of Vietnam and Japan, such as the Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress), Mount Fuji, Dong Son drums, cherry blossoms, and more.

The contest is one of the activities held to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21, 1973). It serves to educate and raise awareness among Dong Nai’s young pioneers and children about the strong friendship and goodwill shared between the two countries and peoples. The event also encourages participants to build connections and cultivate solidarity, friendship, and mutual appreciation for the people, culture, and achievements of Japan, as well as the special traditional bond between the Vietnamese and Japanese peoples.
