On the morning of October 2, the Dong Nai Provincial Study Promotion Association held the 14th “Supporting pupils and students to overcome difficulties to study well” scholarship granting for the 2025–2026 academic year. Attending the event was Le Truong Son, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee.
Also present were leaders from various provincial departments, and sectors, along with representatives of sponsoring organizations.

Accordingly, the scholarships worth 959 million VND in total were granted to 176 pupils and students with disabilities (including 66 secondary school students, 74 high school students, 7 college students, and 29 university students).
This is the first phase of the “Supporting pupils and students to overcome difficulties to study well” scholarship granting program for the 2025–2026 school year. In the coming period, the Dong Nai Provincial Study Promotion Association will continue to coordinate with relevant departments, sectors, and local communes and wards to award scholarships to more than 450 primary school students with disabilities, totaling over 1.35 billion VND.

The “Supporting pupils and students to overcome difficulties to study well” scholarship granting program is held annually. Scholarship amounts are set as follows: 3 million VND per primary school student, 4 million VND per secondary school student, 5 million VND per student from high schools, vocational training facilities, and colleges, and 10 million VND per university student. In the previous 13 scholarship awarding rounds, nearly 3,400 students received support, with a total funding of over 13.5 billion VND.

This year alone, according to Le Thi My Phuong, Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Provincial Study Promotion Association, alongside the “Supporting pupils and students to overcome difficulties to study well” scholarship granting program, the Dong Nai Provincial Education Promotion Fund provided more than 2,300 scholarships worth 2.35 billion VND to pupils in eight border communes, two heroic communes, six disadvantaged communes, and 18 schools across the province on the occasion of the opening of the 2025–2026 school year.

Speaking at the scholarship granting ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Le Truong Son emotionally expressed: We are here not only to present scholarships but also to honor the shining examples of extraordinary resilience, unwavering determination, and strong aspirations of students with disabilities. This scholarship program has truly become a meaningful and profoundly humanitarian activity. It is not only material support but also a bridge of love; a gesture of sharing and encouragement from the entire community, helping these students confidently overcome difficulties to pursue knowledge and affirm their self-worth.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also acknowledged and commended the contributions of agencies, units, and benefactors to the program. This collective support not only provides additional resources for students in difficult circumstances but also spreads positive values, helping to realize the Party’s and State’s major policy on building a compassionate and progressive learning society, with a firm determination to leave no one behind.

On this occasion, provincial leaders and the Dong Nai Provincial Study Promotion Association also presented Certificates of Merit from the Central Vietnam Study Promotion Association to units and individuals who have made significant contributions to the program.
