The plan aims to concretize and organize the implementation of tasks, solutions, and timelines for activities related to Vietnam’s semiconductor industry development strategy, ensuring they are comprehensive, effective, timely, and appropriate to Dong Nai province’s development context.
The plan establishes a clear goal for developing the semiconductor industry in Dong Nai, with the Long Thanh Concentrated IT Park (also known as Long Thanh Digital Technology Park) as the central hub. The park is expected to have the capacity to engage in high value-added stages of Vietnam’s semiconductor value chain.
Looking ahead to 2050, the province envisions a self-reliant semiconductor industry ecosystem, with the Long Thanh Concentrated Information Technology Park (Long Thanh Concentrated Digital Technology Park) developing into a hub for training, research, and development in the semiconductor sector.
To achieve this vision, the plan outlines five key groups of tasks and solutions, including improving mechanisms and policies; attracting investment; developing infrastructure and the semiconductor industry ecosystem; developing human resources; and other tasks.
The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology to guide relevant units in executing the plan's tasks and solutions. The department is also responsible for coordinating with related agencies to monitor, supervise, and compile information and data on the progress and outcomes of plan implementation, and to suggest adjustments to the plan’s content if necessary.
