Close inter-agency coordination is essential to facilitate activities at national and international border gates. This was a key point stressed by Le Truong Son, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, during a working session on the afternoon of October 27th. The session, which involved various provincial departments, sectors, the Border Guard, and relevant localities, focused on managing national and international border gates within the province's jurisdiction and resolving difficulties for motor vehicles passing through the provincial land border gates for the delivery and receipt of goods.

The working delegation conducted a field inspection of border guard stations and the areas of the Hoang Dieu and Loc Thinh national border gates, along with the Hoa Lu international border gate. During the visit, the officials received briefings from the Department of Industry and Trade, border guard units, the Border Gate Management Board, and relevant agencies including the Customs Sub-Department of Region XIII, who reported on current operations and submitted proposals regarding their jurisdictional management responsibilities.

Several recommendations were put forward, including the need to adjust the master plan for the Hoa Lu International Border Gate complex. The proposed adjustment encompasses approximately 30 hectares for warehouses, administrative headquarters, state agency offices, and facilities for border guards, customs, medical quarantine, and animal and plant hygiene. Urgent repairs were also requested for the damaged internal road within the Hoa Lu International Border Gate area, as well as for the office buildings of the Hoang Dieu Border Gate Management Board and the Hoang Dieu Border Guard Station.

Vice Chairman Le Truong Son called for continued close coordination between the Border Gate Management Board, the Provincial Border Guard, the communes of Hung Phuoc, Loc Thanh, and Loc Thinh, and relevant departments of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade, and Construction, as well as the Provincial Military Command, and the Customs Sub-Department of Region XIII. He tasked them with advising the Provincial People's Committee to resolve impediments for motor vehicles involved in cross-border goods transportation.

For zones concerning national defense or where existing bunkers obstruct ongoing road construction, Son directed relevant departments, sectors and localities to collaborate closely with the Border Guard Command to propose and submit documents to the Border Guard High Command and the Ministry of National Defense for approval before any implementation.

Regarding financial support for the construction of office buildings for the Hoang Dieu Border Guard Station and outpost, the Provincial People's Committee will endorse the allocation of funds upon receiving detailed planning documents and formal proposals. Later that afternoon, Vice Chairman Le Truong Son and the working delegation  conducted an inspection and working session at the Loc Thinh Border Guard Station.
