On October 30, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) held the closing and award ceremony for the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.

The organizing committee awarded 15 group prizes and 140 individual prizes to students. Among the individual awards were four titles of Outstanding Reading Culture Ambassador, eight first prizes, sixteen second prizes, thirty-two third prizes, sixty-four consolation prizes, and special thematic prizes for the most outstanding entries.
Dong Nai won two prizes at the contest. Specifically, the third prize went to contestant Mai Nha Phuong, class 5/8, Nguyen Du Primary School, Tran Bien ward, with her presentation of the work The Green Lotus Bud (author Son Tung, Kim Dong Publishing House); and the consolation prize went to contestant Nguyen Ngoc Thu An, class 7/9, Asia Bilingual College (ABC EDU), Tran Bien ward, with her presentation of the work Never Give Up (author Nguyen Bich Lan, Vietnam Women's Publishing House).

The 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest was launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in March 2025. A total of 519 outstanding entries, which received high prizes in the preliminary round, were submitted to the national final, comprising 404 written pieces and 115 videos. The contest has sparked a passion for reading, encouraged independent and creative reading among the younger generation, and contributed to shaping character, nurturing the soul, and promoting a reading culture within the community.
