Dong Nai: Training on political and ideological education for students and educational communication

From October 9 to 11, the Dong Nai Department of Education and Training organized a conference to implement political and ideological education for students and promote communication within the education and training sector. The event gathered 955 key personnel from educational institutions and education management officials from 95 wards and communes across the province.

The conference is conducted in two formats: in-person and online, reaching educational institutions as well as wards and communes across the province.

During the program, lecturers invited by the Department of Education and Training will present several key topics, including: studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics, and style; promoting traffic safety law awareness among officials, teachers, and students in educational institutions; and developing skills for safe social media use, information management, and crisis communication handling within educational institutions across the province.

In addition, the lecturers will provide knowledge and skills on fostering ideal education and revolutionary ethics for students in the current period; solutions for building safe schools, preventing accidents and injuries, and enhancing safety skills in the online environment, as well as ensuring school healthcare standards.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Pham Hong Thang emphasized that political and ideological education for students, along with communication in the education and training sector, is becoming increasingly important, particularly for education management officials in wards and communes following the restructuring of the two-level local government system.

Moreover, many responsibilities previously managed by the provincial and district education authorities have now been delegated to the commune level. As a result, some officials still face uncertainty in handling situations that arise in practice. Therefore, the leadership of the Department of Education and Training has requested that each official assigned to attend the training must take the program seriously and absorb the knowledge, experience, and practical solutions shared at the conference to support day-to-day management at both educational institutions and the local level.
