On October 24, at the conference hall of the Dong Nai Market Surveillance Sub-department, the department organized a 2025 training workshop on identifying genuine and counterfeit goods. The event was held in line with Plan No. 2955/KH-BCD389 issued by the provincial Steering Committee 389, aiming to strengthen communication and improve the effectiveness of efforts to combat smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and ensure food safety in Dong Nai Province.

During the training session, representatives from Honda Vietnam (Honda Vietnam Co., Ltd.) and Pham & Associates introduced Honda Vietnam, followed by a presentation of the current situation regarding intellectual property rights violations involving the Honda trademark. They provided detailed guidance on distinguishing genuine Honda products from counterfeits, outlined the protected trademarks, identified key features, and addressed ongoing issues of infringement.

Additionally, law enforcement officers received hands-on guidance on distinguishing genuine from counterfeit products using authentic samples. The workshop also provided updates on recent amendments to the Law on Intellectual Property and allotted time for discussion and clarification of issues raised by relevant authorities during the coordination and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
The workshop was a practical initiative aimed at enhancing the capacity of enforcement officers, thereby promoting efforts to combat counterfeit goods and protect the rights of consumers and businesses across Dong Nai Province.
