Dong Nai's weightlifting team concluded its run at the 2025 National Weightlifting Club Championship in Thai Nguyen province with a single bronze medal, the team’s only result at the tournament.

Represented by four athletes, Dong Nai’s weightlifting team concluded the 2025 National Clubs Weightlifting Championship with a single bronze medal, earned by Bui Thi Huyen Trang in the women’s over-86kg total lift category. The gold and silver medals in this weight class went to athletes from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, respectively. The remaining three Dong Nai lifters also delivered commendable performances, finishing in the top eight in the women’s 48kg, 58kg, and 86kg events.
The 2025 National Weightlifting Clubs Championship was organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration in coordination with the Vietnam Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province. Held from October 4 to 9, the tournament drew nearly 230 coaches and athletes from 24 provincial, municipal, and sectoral teams across the nation.
