Nguyen Quoc Han, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Chief Procurator of the People's Procuracy of Dong Nai province, said that in response to the call from the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province, the collective of the People's Procuracy of Dong Nai province donated 250 million VND, hoping to join hands in helping affected residents overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
Le Nhat Truong, Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd., stated that, in upholding the tradition of mutual support and solidarity, whenever the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province launches a donation campaign for people affected by natural disasters, the company’s officials, workers, and employees actively contribute. This year is no exception - the company’s employees participated in the campaign, and he, together with his colleagues, sent a donation of 500 million VND to the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province.
During the same period, the Dong Nai Red Cross Society received about 4.8 billion VND and goods worth 1.2 billion VND contributed by hundreds of individuals and organizations. Contributions were made either directly at No. 03 Hoang Minh Chau street, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province, or via bank transfer to the Dong Nai Red Cross Society’s account No. 20251234 at the VietinBank branch (Binh Phuoc).
Nguyen Van Tam, a resident of Trang Dai ward, shared that although his donation was modest, it came from the heart, driven by a desire to support others in times of hardship.
Each person contributes in their own way

In particular, immediately after the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province launched the donation campaign to support people in provinces and cities affected by natural disasters, the VFF Committees of 95 communes and wards across Dong Nai organized fundraising events and donation drives in local residential areas. These activities promptly provided information on official donation channels and methods, ensuring contributions reached the correct recipients and preventing the misuse of goodwill for improper purposes.
Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Chairwoman of the VFF Committee in Bom Bo commune, stated that the commune’s VFF Committee coordinated the launch and organization of fundraising activities, receiving contributions from people of all social backgrounds. So far, more than 100 million VND has been transferred to the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province. She emphasized that this represents the heartfelt support of officials, civil servants, public employees, workers of the Party Committee, the People’s Council, the People’s Committee, the VFF Committee of the commune, and residents in the locality for those affected by disasters.
According to Nguyen Thi Minh Nham, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, immediately after the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province issued its call for donations to support people in provinces and cities affected by natural disasters, the agency responded by organizing a fundraising campaign among all its cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Subsequently, the unit published the committee’s call for donations and information about the donation activities in the province across its media platforms.
Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai VFF Nguyen Tan Phu stated that the media's power has played a vital role in spreading the call for donations and disseminating information on the relief efforts launched by the Dong Nai VFF to support people in provinces and cities affected by natural disasters. In addition to the communication channels, social media pages, and other forms of propaganda and mobilization by the Fatherland Front, Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television have helped connect individuals and organizations in sending their donations to the Dong Nai VFF, thereby vigorously spreading the humanitarian spirit of Dong Nai’s people toward those affected by natural disasters.
“The VFF Committee of Dong Nai province sincerely appreciates the individuals, agencies, units, and enterprises that have joined hands to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. The committee is committed to ensuring that all contributions will be used for their intended purpose.”
Nguyen Tan Phu, Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province
One notable point is that the provincial Red Cross and the provincial Charity Association also received goods donated by the public. These items include rice, instant noodles, milk, blankets, mosquito nets, and bottled water. Due to the large volume and weight of these donations, unloading them from vehicles and finding storage locations while awaiting delivery to flood-affected residents is a challenging task.
Nguyen Phu Cuong, President of the provincial Charity Association, stated that the association shares its office with another unit, and the available space is insufficient to accommodate storage for donated goods. Therefore, during the collection of contributions for flood-affected people, the abbot of Buu Hung Pagoda (Tran Bien ward) offered the association space to store the goods. In addition, the monks here and association members helped unload the donations, aiming to reduce costs in carrying out the humanitarian work.
