Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation inaugurates solar-powered lighting project for rural road

On the morning of October 25, at Dak Lua Commune, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation, in coordination with the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lua Commune, held an inauguration ceremony for a solar-powered public road lighting project at Hamlet 2, Group 2, Dak Lua Commune.

The project was implemented to celebrate the success of the First Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term. It was jointly carried out by the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation and the local authorities of Dak Lua Commune.

The project involves the construction of a 1.3-kilometer road section in Group 2, Hamlet 2, with 33 solar-powered light poles. The total cost of 59.4 million VND was jointly funded by the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee; Venerable Thich Phuoc Chon, Deputy Chief of Office of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Dong Nai Province and Abbot of Hue Son Linh Pagoda in Tran Bien Ward; along with voluntary labor contributions from residents in the locality.

The project delivers practical benefits, including reduced monthly electricity costs, operating independently of the central power grid, and improved road safety for locals, thereby helping to reduce traffic accidents. It also contributes positively to maintaining public order and security, supporting crime prevention efforts, and encouraging community participation in sports and physical activities.
