According to Tran Trung Nhan, culture and the arts act as bridges that help people from different cultural backgrounds better understand, connect with, and grow closer to one another. With that significance, every year, the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Dong Nai province, in coordination with the provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, organizes the Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange Festival.

The 2025 friendship exchange program is a cultural and artistic event celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the 75th anniversary of Vietnam’s people-to-people diplomacy tradition. The program created a meaningful venue for members, students, and learners at universities and Chinese language teaching centers across the province, fostering, spreading, and contributing to the sustainable development of relations between the two countries.

In recent years, Dong Nai province has made active contributions to promoting exchanges in areas such as education, culture, and economic-trade cooperation. Many Chinese enterprises have come to invest and expand their business operations in the province. Ties between localities, schools, and the youth of both sides have become increasingly vibrant, yielding diverse and meaningful outcomes. Cultural activities such as the exchange program organized by Dong Nai province help strengthen mutual understanding and encourage more young people to become future successors and promoters of Vietnam-China friendship.
