Dong Nai: Nearly 147,000 union members and workers benefit from “Union Meal” program

On the morning of October 2, the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labor reported that, as part of the 2025 “Union Meal” program, the Federation’s Standing Committee has directed grassroots Trade Unions across the province to coordinate with businesses to implement the program for union members and workers extensively.

According to reports from Trade Unions at all levels, by the end of September 2025, 133 enterprise-level Trade Unions across Dong Nai province had implemented the “Union Meal” program, benefiting nearly 147,000 union members and workers. The meals ranged in value from 31,000 VND to 120,000 VND per person per serving.

The Union Meal program was organized with a serious and coordinated approach, ensuring close and harmonious cooperation between the grassroots Trade Unions and the enterprise's Board of Directors, which garnered positive participation and consensus from the workers.

Additionally, grassroots Trade Union Executive Committees, in coordination with employers, distributed over 2,000 gifts to workers facing hardship or suffering from serious illnesses. Cultural, artistic, and recreational activities were also held as part of the Union Meal program to meet the needs of union members and workers.
