The project will cover an area of nearly 2 hectares in the communes of Tri An and Tan Loi, Dong Nai province. It has a total investment capital of almost 3.8 billion VND and is scheduled for implementation from 2025 to 2027.

The provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Centre as the project’s investor. According to the Centre, the amount of compensation and support required for land acquisition under the Ma Da Bridge Construction Project is modest, as the affected area and number of impacted households are limited. Most of the land within the project’s scope is public land, and no resettlement arrangements are required for residents.

Earlier, on August 19, Dong Nai province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ma Da Bridge Construction Project. The project’s starting point connects to Provincial Road 753 in Tan Loi Commune, Dong Nai Province, while its endpoint lies on a trail within the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, Tri An Commune, Dong Nai Province. Ma Da Bridge will span over 580 metres, featuring four lanes for motor vehicles and two lanes for rudimentary vehicles, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. The approach roads on both ends of the bridge will have corresponding scale and include a median strip and curbs on both sides of the road. The total investment capital for the project exceeds 130 billion VND.

The construction of Ma Da Bridge aims to establish an intra-provincial transport route connecting areas within Dong Nai (former Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces), thereby creating a continuous transport network across the province. This will form an inter-regional transport corridor linking the Central Highlands provinces with Long Thanh International Airport and the Cai Mep - Thi Vai deep water port, contributing to the development of inter-provincial logistics infrastructure and industrial zones, promoting local socio-economic growth.

Currently, Dong Nai Province is expediting the implementation of a road connecting Dong Xoai with Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 via Provincial Road 753 and the Ma Da Bridge, as well as the route linking the Ma Da Bridge to Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4.
