Bien Hoa ward is a land rich in revolutionary traditions that have gone down in history. The merger of the ward not only creates a large administrative urban area but is also a strategic turning point, opening up broad development space, while re-establishing the dynamic center position of the western region of Dong Nai province.

After the successful 1st Congress of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, the Bien Hoa ward Party Committee is determined to maximize advantages, thoroughly exploit potential, and soon bring the resolution into life, ensuring social security for the people associated with the motto "Solidarity - Discipline, Breakthrough - Development" set forth by the congress.

Great potential for economic development

Formed by the merger of 4 wards: Tan Hanh, Hoa An, Buu Hoa, and Tan Van, Bien Hoa ward is facing many strategic advantages in management, infrastructure development, and improving the people's lives. Its location bordering Ho Chi Minh City and the Dong Nai River creates potential for waterway transport development, facilitating the development of commerce, services, and tourism, promoting local socio-economic development. The advantages in position, scale, and investment potential have created a great driving force for Bien Hoa ward to strongly assert itself in the new term.

Looking back at the 2020-2025 term, the entire political system and people of all strata in the ward promoted the spirit of solidarity and creativity, striving to fulfill the set goals and tasks. Party directives and resolutions were seriously implemented, diverse in form and quality, and the content was promptly concretized, closely adhering to the local reality. Administrative reform was quickly resolved with over 97% of dossiers received and resolved on time.

Since 2021, the work of planning, construction, and urban development in the ward has received attention, creating clear progress in the quality of the infrastructure system. The deployment of science and technology in the area has achieved positive results, effectively applied in the fields of information technology, agriculture, management, administrative reform... contributing to the socio-economic and environmental development of the entire ward.

Education and training work has received attention. The entire ward currently has 17 schools, including 12 public schools and 5 private schools, with 4 out of 12 public schools meeting national standards. Cultural, artistic, sports, and physical training activities have shown many positive changes and become more diverse. The health sector has been focused on, especially improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people. The work of ensuring social security has been emphasized; poverty reduction solutions have met the resolution targets, and the people's lives continue to be improved. The situation of political security and social order and safety has been firmly maintained.

In Bien Hoa Ward, there are currently more than 1 thousand operating enterprises with nearly 990 individual business households, along with 28 out of 35 enterprises in the Tan Hanh Ceramics Cluster having basically completed technical infrastructure investment and construction, contributing to the development of the local traditional ceramics craft. The enterprises create jobs for thousands of workers, generating revenue for the area.

Le Thi Hanh, with 30 years of experience in the ceramics craft at the Tan Hanh Industrial Cluster, Bien Hoa Ward, said: Thanks to her attachment to the traditional ceramics craft, her income and life have changed. Despite her difficult background, she has diligently worked, risen up in life, and passed the trade on to many local workers. Five people in her family also follow the ceramics craft at various production facilities and enterprises. "I hope the locality continues to invest in developing the traditional ceramics craft so that many young generations can continue the profession, bringing the pride of the Bien Hoa land to other localities," Hanh shared.

Determined to bring the resolution into life

The Resolution of the Bien Hoa ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term sets out 16 main targets, 8 key tasks, 3 breakthrough areas, and 8 main solutions across various fields. Among them, the 3 breakthroughs identified by the locality are: Promoting resources for developing a synchronous, modern, multi-modal transport infrastructure system and sustainable regional connectivity; effectively implementing the planning of the Dong Nai River route and developing the river economy associated with Bien Hoa’s traditional ceramics craft village. In particular, focus is placed on implementing the riverside road and ecological urban projects along the Dong Nai River. Alongside this, building a team of cadres that meets the requirements and tasks.

Bien Hoa ward sets the goal of developing culture, society, health, and education commensurate with economic development; ensuring social security and improving the quality of life for the people. The ward will focusing on developing commerce, services, and tourism, prioritizing high value-added service sectors. It will innovate the growth model associated with enhancing competitiveness in economic development. Its priorities also include arranging and completing the organizational model, improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of local government operations.

Speaking about the development potential of the ward in the next term, Provincial Party Committee Member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Bien Hoa Ward, Vien Hong Tien, said: The achievements in socio-economic development in recent years of Dong Nai province are an extremely important prerequisite for the development of Bien Hoa ward in the following years. It is believed that the focus placed on implementing the planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050; the implementation of key national-level projects, and inter-regional transport projects in the province will bring many motivations and opportunities to promote development and socio-economic structural transformation of the locality.

After the merger, Bien Hoa ward currently has 17 neighborhoods with a natural area of 21km2. The total population is nearly 75 thousand people. In the 2025-2030 term, the Bien Hoa ward Party Organization is determined to build a clean and strong Party and political system; promote the strength of great national solidarity; breakthrough, innovate, and create; build the ward into a modern, civilized, and sustainably developed urban area.
