Following presentations and Q&A sessions by the consulting firms and joint ventures, the Selection Council is set to evaluate and rank the entries for the architectural design of Dong Nai Province’s political and administrative center. The 10-member council includes provincial officials, architects from the Vietnam Association of Architects, and faculty from architecture universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

The political and administrative center of Dong Nai Province is set to be built in the Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Zone (Tran Bien Ward) following the functional conversion of the site.

In June 2025, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee launched a plan to organize the architectural design competition for the province’s political and administrative center. The competition is organized in two stages: a preliminary round and a final round. Consulting firms from Vietnam and abroad were invited to participate in. After the preliminary stage, eight entries from consulting firms and joint ventures were shortlisted for the final round.

The Provincial People’s Committee said the architectural design competition for Dong Nai’s political and administrative center is intended to implement the province’s plan to relocate and rebuild its administrative hub. The project seeks to gradually modernize administrative and urban infrastructure, creating a centralized, professional, and well-coordinated urban environment. It is also designed to support the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation, enhancing socio-economic management and improving public services for residents.
