Regarding the Ecotourism, Resort, and Entertainment Project under the Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board for the 2021-2030 period, approved by the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee in 2023, the PFMB has signed a forest environment lease contract with The Coi - Dong Nai Joint Stock Company, covering 10 tourism sites across the former Dinh Quan district, with a total area exceeding 417 hectares.

As of now, the forest management units and the forest environment lessee are carrying out follow-up procedures related to planning adjustments and additions, site clearance support, and resident relocation.

For the Da Chong National Scenic Site in Dinh Quan Commune, planning work is underway to conserve and promote the site, creating a foundation to attract investors for tourism development in accordance with legal regulations. The Dinh Quan Commune People's Committee is currently adjusting the land use and scenic conservation plans to enable the project to enter its operational phase in the near future.

In Xuan Loc commune, the urban development and tourism project at Chua Chan Mountain and Nui Le Lake has been incorporated into updated planning, covering approximately 1,450 hectares. Phase 1 will invest in the summit area of Chua Chan Mountain and Nui Le Lake, while Phase 2 focuses on the surrounding areas of Chua Chan Mountain.

To date, these projects have been included in the list of land acquisition projects scheduled for investor selection procedures in 2024 within Dong Nai province. Following the selection of investors, environmental impact assessments and construction permit procedures will be conducted to start project implementation.

The Nui Le Lake Urban Area Project covers more than 252 hectares and aligns with Dong Nai Province’s master plan for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050, as approved by the Prime Minister. The project also ensures consistency with other types of planning as required by law. However, certain obstacles remain in finalizing the project documentation, which are currently being addressed.

Speaking at the session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son commended the efforts of localities in actively implementing measures to accelerate the progress of tourism projects across the province.

To overcome the difficulties reported, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee urged departments, agencies, and localities to continue focusing on coordination and promotion of development projects. Specifically, for the projects at Chua Chan Mountain and Nui Le Lake, he emphasized the need to thoroughly review preparatory procedures and legal documentation to ensure completion before submitting them to the Provincial People’s Council for approval. He also cautioned against the emergence of unauthorized constructions.

Regarding the resort tourism project under the Tan Phu Protective Forest Management Board, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that localities have been clearly decentralized and delegated authority in accordance with current regulations, and should carry out their responsibilities accordingly. Provincial leaders will conduct on-site surveys and hold detailed working sessions to address bottlenecks, reactivate these tourism projects, and ensure progress in implementing the province’s tourism development plans.
