Attending the workshop were Assoc. Prof. Dr., Writer Nguyen The Ky, former member of the Party Central Committee and former Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, along with representatives of the council's leadership. Representing Dong Nai Province was a delegation led by Le Thi Thai, Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr., Writer Nguyen The Ky emphasized: Over the past 40 years, Vietnamese culture and arts have achieved significant, historic accomplishments. Culture and arts not only play the role of society’s spiritual foundation but also act as a powerful driving force, becoming a key development goal.

The workshop aimed to help leaders, managers, and professionals in the fields of culture and the arts gain a clearer understanding of the current situation while enhancing their awareness, management capacity, and professional skills. It also sought to strengthen their grasp of the Party and State’s viewpoints and development orientations in response to practical demands, thereby contributing to the effective fulfillment of assigned tasks.

The training workshop takes place from September 19 to 22, with more than 200 participants from provinces and cities nationwide, including 11 from Dong Nai Province. Participants will engage with specialized topics such as: Vietnamese literature and arts after 40 years of Doi Moi and development orientations in the new era; Renewing leadership and management thinking in literature and arts in the era of integration and technology; The image of Ho Chi Minh in Vietnamese literature from 1975 to the present - some initial reflections; Traditional Vietnamese theater - opportunities and challenges…
