Earlier, at the end of August, the construction units completed the installation of 168 beams for 14 spans of the Thong Nhat Bridge. Following the beam installation, the units began pouring concrete, and so far, concrete has been poured for 14 out of 28 bridge decks. With the remaining work, construction is expected to be finished by the end of October 2025.

According to the joint venture contractor, once the concrete pouring of the bridge deck is completed, the construction units will move on to the finishing phase of the Thong Nhat Bridge, which will take more than a month.

The Bien Hoa Central Axis Road Project spans over 5.4 kilometers and is divided into two branches. Branch 1 starts at the intersection with Vo Thi Sau Street and ends at the intersection with Dang Van Tron Street at the An Hao Bridge interchange, with a length of over 3.7 kilometers. Branch 2 begins at the roundabout where it connects with Branch 1 in Cu Lao Hiep Hoa and ends at the intersection with Dang Van Tron Street at the Buu Hoa Bridge interchange, covering more than 1.7 kilometers.

The Thong Nhat Bridge is the most important component of the project. According to the design, the bridge will have between 6 and 10 lanes, a width ranging from 45 to 95 meters, and a total length of approximately 765 meters, including a 559-meter main span.

For the Bien Hoa Central Axis Road project as a whole, contractors are currently focusing on accelerating the construction of various components, aiming to open the route to traffic by the end of 2025.
