Strengthening propaganda for the Provincial Party Congress

At a meeting held on the afternoon of September 16 to review preparations for the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, Nguyen Thi Hong Trang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head in charge of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that in order to contribute to the success of the upcoming event, agencies, units and localities in the province need to strength propaganda before, during, and after the Provincial Party Congress, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress.

Regarding propaganda work for the Provincial Party Congress, Trang highlighted that from now until the completion of the event, the focus should be on promoting the glorious history of the Party, its leadership role and combat strength; the key achievements and lessons learned over 95 years of Party leadership, especially in areas such as Party building and rectification, strengthening the political system, and fighting corruption, wastefulness, and negative practices as well as difficulties, challenges, directions and tasks for the near future. Propaganda should also underline the results of the nationwide movement to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style, particularly the achievements over the past 40 years of Đổi mới (Renewal), affirming the Party’s great mission today is to lead the country into an era of prosperous development, and to successfully build a socialist Vietnam that is wealthy, strong, democratic, fair, and civilized.

Propaganda should put stress on the meaning, significance, goals, objectives, tasks, and the local and national context in which the congress takes place. It’s necessary to reflect on the results, challenges, limitations, and valuable lessons learned after five years of implementing the Resolution of the 2020-2025 Provincial Party Congress, and major directions for 2025-2030 tenure.

Additionally, propaganda should highlight the outcomes of subordinate Party congresses within the province and public contributions of opinions to the Draft Documents for the Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

Emulation movements in celebration of the Provincial Party Congress should be widely disseminated, along with reflecting the sentiments, expectations, and wishes of officials, Party members, and the people from all walks of life within and outside the province, towards the congress.

During the congress, propaganda work should vividly reflect the spirit of democracy, unity, and consensus, as well as the hopes of officials, Party members, and the people for the success of both the Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Congress. The dissemination should highlight the achievements of departments, agencies, and localities in Dong Nai in celebration of the congress, while emphasizing its importance and objectives. Special attention should be paid to the Congress theme, motto, and the province’s determination to achieve double-digit economic growth, green, civilized, and modern development, and the activities and outcomes of the congress.

It is equally important to propagate the democratic atmosphere during the congress, the unity within the Party, and social consensus, along with support of Party members, officials, and the public for the congress.

Post-congress propaganda should focus on celebrating its success and promoting the study, thorough understanding, and implementation of the resolutions of the 2025–2030 Provincial Party Congress, as well as the emulation movements carrying out the three breakthroughs and eight core tasks outlined in the political report of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, in connection with the dissemination of the country’s major political events. This will encourage and motivate cadres, Party members, and people from all walks of life to strive for achievements that contribute to successfully implementing the resolutions of the 1st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term.
