Setting breakthrough tasks for the Long Hung Ward VFF

On September 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Long Hung ward held its 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

During the past term, the VFF Committee of the ward and its member organizations effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements, including mobilizing residents to support urban renovation projects, maintaining urban environmental sanitation; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc to contribute to the successful achievement of local socio-economic development goals and targets.

Through these efforts, the VFF Committee of the ward led and coordinated efforts in organizing 28 thematic supervision sessions across various fields; mobilized residents to repair 12 transportation projects with a total value of over 16.1 billion VND; and built and repaired 12 solid houses for policy beneficiary families and households in difficult circumstances.

As part of the program, 120 delegates representing people from all walks of life in the ward discussed and contributed opinions to the congress documents, aiming to ensure that the ward’s key Front tasks in the new term align with the Resolution of the 1st Party Congress of Long Hung ward for the 2025-2030 term. The congress also elected 54 members to the VFF Committee of Long Hung ward for the 2025-2030 term, and nominated 2 official delegates along with 1 alternate delegate to attend the 1st Congress of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province for the 2025-2030 term.

At the first conference of the VFF Committee of Long Hung ward for the 2025-2030 term, the Standing Committee, the Chairpersons, and Vice Chairpersons of the ward’s VFF Committee were elected. Trieu Ngoc Phuoc was re-elected as Chairwoman of the VFF Committee of Long Hung ward for the new term.

Comrade Huynh Thi Hang congratulated Long Hung ward on successfully organizing the 1st VFF Congress of the ward for the 2025-2030 term, as well as the individuals elected to the ward’s VFF Committee.

In addition, Chairwoman of the Provincial VFF Committee, Huynh Thi Hang, also urged the ward VFF to strongly innovate in communication, mobilization, and community engagement. She called for diversifying methods, improving the quality of traditional education and political awareness, and fostering broad social consensus in implementing the ward’s socio-economic development tasks, especially key projects on infrastructure, urban areas, and resettlement.

In particular, the focus should be placed on explaining and mobilizing public consensus on key local projects, promptly identifying and resolving difficulties, and preventing the emergence of “hot spots” among the population - this is also a breakthrough priority in the ward’s emulation movement for the 2025-2030 term.

At the same time, efforts to build and replicate the model of “Self-managed, united, prosperous and happy residential areas” will be continued. There is a need to promote democracy and improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism, focusing on practical issues such as land management, construction order, the environment, resettlement infrastructure, and public service ethics. Attention will also be given to developing the organizational apparatus and the contingent of Front cadres in the direction of "streamlined, effective and efficient operations".
