Removing obstacles for Novaland Group's projects

On the afternoon of September 5, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc chaired a working session with Novaland Group to review the implementation progress and removal of obstacles of the Aqua City project cluster. The meeting was attended by leaders of relevant provincial departments and agencies.

Novaland Group's Aqua City cluster projects in subdivision C4 include: Aqua City project; Aqua Riverside City; Aqua Marina City; Aqua Waterfront City, and the Phuoc Hung Islet High-end Trade and Service Urban Area Project. These projects are expected to contribute VND 23 trillion to the state budget during 2025–2028 period, with about VND 500 billion in 2025 alone.

Novaland Group proposed to implement the construction of technical infrastructure (including leveling the ground) and related works and projects immediately after the 1/500 detailed planning approval, in parallel with the appraisal of the feasibility study report by the Department of Construction.

The investor is committed to ensuring that construction would comply with the feasibility study appraisal documents during later acceptance inspections. To facilitate business operations, Novaland proposed that the Provincial People's Committee instruct relevant departments to consider granting sales permits once technical infrastructure is completed and accepted in accordance with the approved 1/500 detailed plan and project schedule.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the relevant departments and branches to coordinate with the investor to review and remove difficulties related to land and investment policies to accelerate progress.

Regarding the two key proposals on implementing technical infrastructure construction and sales permits, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc assigned the Department of Construction to preside over, working with relevant agencies to review the documents and compare current legal regulations on construction and real estate business to guide Novaland Group on complying with regulations.
