Opening ceremony of the initial training course for 428 cadets of the People's Public Security schools

In Dong Nai, on September 18, Major General Phung Van Chien, Member of the Standing Party Committee and Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police, attended the opening ceremony of the initial training course for cadets newly admitted to the formal second-degree programs at the People's Public Security schools for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Phung Van Chien stated that in recent years, the Central Public Security’s Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security have issued numerous resolutions and directives focusing on leadership, direction, and fundamental and comprehensive innovation in all areas of work. It is defined that first of all, building people as the center and cultivating modern individuals, combined with modern equipment, and technical logistics to ensure synchronization and suitability, putting people first and guns later. In particular, enrolling cadets in the initial training of People's Public Security schools is one of the measures aimed at improving the quality and modernizing the workforce.

Since 2019, the Mobile Police Command has completed initial training programs for over 14,800 cadets at People's Public Security academies and schools. These achievements have earned the trust and recognition from the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.

Major General Phung Van Chien urged the Center for Training, Professional Development and Vocational Education No. 2 to continue implementing the training plan according to the curriculum framework, ensuring that cadets successfully complete all training content so that 100% of them meet the required standards upon graduation, with absolute safety. He emphasized the need to build the pool of highly qualified training staff, prepare teaching materials and lectures, and conduct strict evaluations of lesson plans. In addition, it is necessary to develop a plan for extracurricular sports activities to strengthen cadets’ physical fitness, and ensure timely military medical care and treatment.

Major General Phung Van Chien reminded the cadets that studying and training within the People’s Public Security Forces is an honor and a source of pride. Therefore, they must strictly comply with the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s laws, and the regulations of the sector and their units.

For the 2025-2026 academic year, in the Southern region, the Center for Training, Professional Development and Vocational Education No. 2 under the Mobile Police Command has been assigned to provide initial training to 428 second-degree cadets from the People’s Security University and the People’s Police University.

The cadets will undergo a four-month training course with basic contents and knowledge of politics, law, history and traditions of the People's Public Security, tactical and military skills, martial arts, shooting, etc. In addition, the cadets will receive physical training and participate in marching exercises.
