National Achievements Exhibition extended until September 15

The National Achievements Exhibition  titled “80 years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” will remain open to visitors until September 15, instead of September 5 as initially planned.

Accordingly, the Prime Minister has decided to extend the opening time of the National Achievements Exhibition  titled “80 years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness”  until the end of September 15 to meet demands of the public for visiting and experiencing activities and events at the exhibition. The Prime Minister requested the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) to support units, enterprises and localities during the extension period of the National Achievements Exhibition.

A representative of VEC said: The National Achievements Exhibition “80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness,” held from August 28 to September 2, attracted more than 4 million visitors.

The exhibition brought together display booths from 28 ministries and central agencies; 34 localities along with more than 110 enterprises and major economic groups. It had a total of 230 display booths on an area of 260,000 square meters, including both indoor and outdoor spaces.

In addition to showcasing achievements in economy, culture, and society, this exhibition also presents many new contents, including featuring achievements in defense and security with many modern weapons such as missiles, tanks, heavy artillery, armored vehicles, drones, and specialized equipment developed and manufactured domestically for the purpose of ensuring security and public order. In addition, several major Vietnamese airlines also showcased many achievements in the development of aviation services.

Many visitors expressed delight that the exhibition vividly showcased the country’s development, with the strong growth of state-owned enterprises such as: Vietnam National Industry - Energy  Group, Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group, Vietnam Airlines JSC,...

Especially at the exhibition, large private economic groups playing the role of economic locomotives such as: Vingroup, Hoa Phat Group, Truong Hai Thaco, FPT Group, Vietjet Air, Vinamilk… demonstrated great determination to contribute to national development, particularly after the Politburo issued Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on May 4, 2025 on developing the private economy.

At the National Achievements Exhibition “80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness,” Dong Nai’s 400 square-meter display space showcases its economic, cultural, and social development achievements, making it one of the largest exhibition spaces compared to those of other provinces and cities. In addition, Dong Nai also boasts a culinary culture space, offering many local dishes free of charge at different time slots.
