Speaking at the event, Chairwoman of the province Women's Union Le Thi Thanh Loan stated that the "Mother's Embrace" program, launched by the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee in 2021, has provided care and support for many children orphaned by Covid-19, giving them a meaningful source of comfort and encouragement on their path to adulthood.

Accompanying the province Women's Union in implementing the "Mother's embrace" program since 2022, Long Thanh Golf Investment and Business Joint Stock Company has committed to supporting the province Women's Union with 1 billion VND annually (for 10 years), helping hundreds of orphans continue schooling and move forward in life.

At the event, the province Women's Union delivered support to 76 children living in the wards of Tran Bien, Bien Hoa, Ho Nai, Long Binh, Long Hung, Tam Hiep, and Trang Dai with a total amount of 370 million VND with 2 non-schooling children receiving 3 million VND each, 6 children under 5 years old receiving 4 million VND each, and 68 students from primary school to university receiving 5 million VND each. For the remaining children, the province Women's Union will transfer funds to commune and ward-level Women's Unions to hand over directly.

The program "Ao dai for children to school" was launched by the province's Women's Union in the 2024-2025 academic year. This year, after surveys, 107 orphaned and disadvantaged female students expressed the wish to receive ao dai (1-2 sets per student). Based on this, the province Women's Union mobilized funding to buy fabric, and 40 members who are ao dai tailors sewed 147 sets to give the students before the new school year.

At the event, the Provincial Women's Union presented ao dai to representatives of 19 female students (the remaining students will receive theirs from the commune- and ward-level Women's Unions). At the same time, 18 out of 19 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, were awarded to disadvantaged female students.
