Many communes and wards hold VFF congresses for the 2025-2030 term

On September 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Binh Loc ward, Dong Nai province, held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Attending and directing the congress was Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial VFF Committee, and Chairman of the Dong Nai Farmers’ Association. Also present were Nguyen Xuan Ha, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee and Chairman of the Binh Loc Ward People’s Council, ward leaders, along with 150 official delegates representing all walks of life in the ward.

During the past term, the ward’s Fatherland Front and its member organizations continued to innovate in communication, mobilization, coordination, and implementation of emulation movements and campaigns, achieving positive results. As a result, residents actively participated in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, particularly the campaigns on All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas, Day for the poor, Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods...

In addition, the ward’s Fatherland Front coordinated efforts to mobilize enterprises and individuals to contribute nearly 1 billion VND to social welfare programs and scholarships, support the construction and repair of 17 solidarity houses with a total value of over 1 billion VND, and visit 339 policy beneficiary families and revolutionary contributors, with total support of more than 550 million VND.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development," the congress unanimously adopted goals, tasks, and solutions to implement six action programs of the VFF, with 10 specific targets. The congress elected 51 members to the first Binh Loc Ward VFF Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Nguyen Bich Hanh was trusted to hold the position as Chairwoman of the first Binh Loc Ward VFF Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the congress, Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province, requested that in the coming term, the Binh Loc Ward VFF Committee continue to take the lead in promoting communication and mobilizing residents to build a cultured urban lifestyle, raise awareness of compliance with planning and construction laws, ensure traffic order, and protect the environment.

At the same time, he emphasized the need to further improve the quality of supervision and social criticism, and arouse the potential and creativity of the people to develop the urban economy. The Front acts as the core to support and develop the trade and service model, promoting the strengths of the existing garden tourism model.

Nguyen Huu Nguyen also called for strengthening the organization and improving the capacity of Fatherland Front officials, thinking, dynamism, responsibility, closeness to the people.

During the past term, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Phu Rieng commune affirmed their central role in building the great national unity bloc; gathering people from all walks of life, promoting the intelligence, creativity and sense of responsibility of the entire people in building a new way of life and successfully fulfilling socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in the locality.

Emulation movements and campaigns launched by the VFF Committee and its member organizations have made new progress, targeting residential areas through many creative approaches and effective models, while mobilizing the potential, spirit of autonomy and voluntary participation of all classes of people.

The commune Fatherland Front mobilized resources to build and repair 11 houses for poor and near-poor households and those facing housing difficulties, with a total value of 840 million VND. It raised 471 million VND for the “For the Poor” fund, and mobilized over 1.3 billion VND to support Northern residents affected by Typhoon Yagi. The Front also maintained and developed 24 bright spots of law enforcement at the grassroots level, and all 19 residential areas met the title of cultural residential areas.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Responsibility - Innovation - Strength," the congress for the 2025-2030 term adopted six action programs, set out 11 specific targets, and elected 52 members to the first Phu Rieng Commune VFF Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure. Luu Duc Hien was re-elected as Chairman of the Commune VFF Committee for the 2025-2030 tenure.

Attending the congress were Nguyen Van Phoi, Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee and Chairman of the Veterans’ Association of Dong Nai province, ward leaders, along with 130 official delegates representing people from all walks of life in the ward.

During the past term, the Ward VFF Committee strengthened communication efforts, effectively carried out emulation movements, and mobilized residents to contribute funds and working days to upgrade and build many civil works. These included dredging, upgrading, and building more than 5 km of asphalt roads and drainage ditches; installing 61 public lighting bulbs and 92 security cameras.

In addition, the ward Fatherland Front coordinated in implementing social welfare programs, supporting the poor and disadvantaged policy families with more than 1,200 gift packages worth over 550 million VND in total.

The congress set the orientation for the 2025-2030 term to continue renewing operational methods, improving the quality of campaigns and patriotic emulation movements, strengthening supervision and social criticism, and focusing on digital technology application, towards building Trang Dai into a civilized, modern, and sustainably developed ward.

Delivering his directive speech at the congress, Nguyen Van Phoi, Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province, praised the achievements of the ward VFF Committee. He also emphasized that the ward VFF Committee should uphold its role and maintain strong consensus and determination in implementing the set goals, targets, and action programs.

In particular, he stressed the need to step up propaganda work, making every cadre, Party member, Youth Union member, association member, and people from all walks of life deeply aware of the position, role and mission of the VFF in the new period. The Front serves as a forum to gather, connect and support people's creative ideas to be realized, making practical contributions to local development.

At the congress, Nguyen Thi Huu was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Ward VFF Committee. The congress also elected three delegates to attend the VFF Congress of Dong Nai province for the 2025-2030 tenure.
