Ground broken for a Social Housing Project on 3.5-hectare site in Trang Bom Commune

On September 27, in Trang Bom Commune, a consortium of investors including Khang Nam Real Estate and Environmental Construction Group JSC and Viet Quang Construction No.1 JSC, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Social Housing Project on a 3.5-hectare site in Trang Bom Commune. Attending the ceremony were Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai Province, Nguyen Tuan Anh, along with local leaders and business representatives.

The project is located in the Service Center of Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Trang Bom Commune, Dong Nai Province (already established). According to the design, the project will consist of apartment blocks with building heights ranging from 5 to 6 floors.

Once completed, the project is expected to provide between 900 and 950 apartments with a total floor area of 77,000 square meters, offering accommodation for around 3,500 people. The aim of the project is to provide affordable housing for local residents and workers in nearby industrial parks, thereby contributing to the province’s social welfare objectives.

The project has a total investment of more than VND 733 billion and aims to complete construction within 24 months. Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Nguyen Tuan Anh, said: This is one of the projects assigned by the provincial government to investors under a pilot initiative applying certain mechanisms and policies for developing social housing. The groundbreaking ceremony is also part of a series of events held to celebrate the first Dong Nai provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, and to welcome the 14th National Party Congress.

Once completed, the project will meet the social housing demand of local residents and contribute to urban renovation. Therefore, the province requested investors and contractors to ensure safety and on-schedule implementation. The locality will continue to accompany and create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly and quickly, while also promoting administrative reform and providing legal support for other projects in the area.
