The Plan underscores that the Provincial Party Congress will be a significant political event for the entire Party organization, government, and people of Dong Nai province. It marks a special milestone following the provincial merger to join the nation’s development trajectory, heralding a new era - "the era of national rise." The upcoming congress will focus on reviewing the implementation of the 2020–2025 provincial Party resolution and outlining the strategic directions and tasks for the 2025–2030 term under the leadership of the Provincial Party Executive Committee.
The First Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term is scheduled to take place over one and a half days on September 29 and 30, 2025, with the participation of 450 official delegates. The congress is expected to be conducted in a hybrid format - both in person and broadcast live with signals relayed to 99 satellite locations, including subordinate Party organizations and provincial departments and agencies.
The congress will center on two major agenda topics. First, it will review the implementation of the resolutions from the previous 2020–2025 term, which had been adopted by the Party congresses of the former Binh Phuoc and former Dong Nai provinces, and define the vision, objectives, missions and solutions for the 2025–2030 term. Second, it will involve discussions and contributions of feedback to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested that the organization of the Provincial Party Congress must be conducted with seriousness, solemnity, and in strict adherence to the procedural principles as well as ensure full completion of agenda items according to the Central requirements and instructions. It is necessary to promote democracy in tandem with upholding the Party's principles of discipline and order; enhance unity; strengthen the leadership capacity of the Provincial Party Committee; and maximize the collective wisdom and responsibility of all Party Committees, Party organizations and Party members throughout the province.
