On September 6, a representative of the Dong Nai Provincial Confederation of Labor (LĐLĐ) announced that, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025), the organization will hold a festival for female trade union members and workers under the theme “Dong Nai Women - Confident in Integration.”

The festival will feature two competitions: an Ao Dai and Ba Ba traditional costume contest, and a “Beautiful Labor Photos” contest for female public employees and workers. For the fashion contest, each team of 4–8 female members will present both traditional Ao Dai and Ba Ba outfits, accompanied by background music and supporting props.
For the photo contest, each unit will select and submit 10 of its best photos to the provincial Confederation of Labor via the Women’s Affairs Department or through the official Facebook page “Dong Nai Confederation of Labor.” The criteria include natural beauty, expression, meaningful storytelling, and connection with the working environment, while also honoring traditional beauty and the diligence, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit of women in labor and production. The deadline for submissions is September 10.

As part of the festival’s activities, depending on actual conditions, the provincial Confederation of Labor will coordinate with sectors, organizations, and enterprises in the area to organize services for female employees, such as fashion haircuts, facial spa treatments, OCOP stalls, and booths selling women’s products and essential household items. These activities are scheduled for October 12 at the Provincial Square Park (Tan Trieu Ward).
The provincial Confederation of Labor has called on grassroots trade unions to step up outreach efforts and encourage female workers to actively participate in the competitions, aiming to amplify their impact and highlight the cultural identity of modern Vietnamese women.
