In the lead-up to this important event, young people across Dong Nai have been actively participating in practical initiatives to help spread the spirit and momentum of the congress.
Spreading the congress spirit
This undertaking is one of many initiatives currently being promoted by all levels of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union across the province.
Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union, stated that with the motto “Promote positivity to push back negativity” and “Uplift the good to eliminate the bad,” the goal is to generate a broad and lasting ripple effect. The Provincial Youth Union has issued a communication plan for the periods before, during, and after the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress (2025–2030 term), in preparation for the 14th National Party Congress.
Accordingly, Youth Union branches at all levels are focusing on three peak communication phases. The first phase runs from mid-September 2025 until the conclusion of the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress. The second phase begins after the provincial congress concludes and continues until the completion of the 14th National Party Congress. The third phase starts after the closing of the 14th National Party Congress.
During the first phase, the Youth Union focused on promoting the history and leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, as well as its key achievements and lessons learned over the past 95 years. They highlighted the implementation results of the 2020-2025 Provincial Party Congress resolution and outlined primary directions for the 2025-2030 term. Communication efforts also included updates on congress preparations, emulation movements, and celebratory projects.
Notably, to further spread excitement, Youth Union organizations from provincial to grassroots levels simultaneously posted trailers introducing the congress on their social media platforms. They also updated their cover photos with the slogan: “Warmly welcoming the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, 2025-2030 term.” Recently, the Provincial Youth Union directed its affiliated branches to promote congress-related activities and projects through online posts. From now until seven days after the congress concludes, all photos and posts related to these activities must include a commemorative frame with the slogan celebrating the 1st Provincial Party Congress.
Furthermore, Youth Union branches launched a campaign encouraging officials, union members, and young people to update their personal profile frames on Facebook and Zalo with the message: “Warmly welcoming the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, 2025-2030 term, Solidarity - Pioneering - Breakthrough - Integration - Development.”
Vo Minh Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union at Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts, who already updated his profile picture, shared: “Though a small action, it is a meaningful way to express love for our homeland and country, and to show trust in the Party’s leadership. It also represents the voice, confidence, and pioneering spirit of Dong Nai’s youth in the digital space.”
Welcoming the Party Congress through meaningful action
In addition to spreading enthusiasm in the lead-up to the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress (2025-2030 term), Youth Union organizations across the province have launched a series of practical and celebratory activities to mark this important event and look ahead to the 14th National Party Congress.

Nguyen Tran Phuong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union, stated that the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Federation recently coordinated the launch of the 6th Green Sunday Campaign in Chon Thanh Ward. The event was held in response to the 2025 World Cleanup Day Campaign and in celebration of the upcoming Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress. In addition to providing resources such as trees, trash bins, and gifts, the program featured a “Trash for Gifts” exchange, distribution of environmental awareness leaflets, and community outreach to promote environmental protection. The Provincial Youth Union also called on all affiliated Youth Union and Youth Federation units to simultaneously launch local environmental initiatives and projects.
Responding to the call from the Provincial Youth Union, the Tam Hiep Ward Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of the Mobile Police Department (under Dong Nai Provincial Police) and the Dong Nai Green Group to clean up a major waste hotspot along Pham Van Khoai Street in Tam Hiep Ward. In just one cleanup session, nearly 100 youth union members and volunteers collected approximately 6.8 tons of various types of waste. Earlier, the Trang Dai Ward Youth Union, in collaboration with the Vietnam Green Group, organized a 2025 Green Sunday event and collected about 5 tons of waste. These efforts not only contributed to waste collection but also helped raise public awareness about environmental protection among residents and commuters along key local roads.
In addition to spreading positive messages and images, Dong Nai’s Youth Union branches have also been actively posting content to help young people identify and counter hostile and distorted narratives spread by reactionary forces in the lead-up to both the provincial and national Party congresses.
Pham Van Tien, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Phuoc Ward and Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Ward Youth Union, stated: “In celebration of the upcoming Party congresses at all levels, the Binh Phuoc Ward Youth Union collaborated to implement a public project featuring a children’s playground and an outdoor fitness area in the Tan Thien residential area.” Another widely impactful initiative was the "Flag-themed mural project" at Nguyen Du High School, jointly carried out by the Youth Union, the Fatherland Front Committee, other socio-political organizations of Binh Phuoc Ward, and the school.
“In addition to murals featuring the Party flag, the national flag, and artworks celebrating the Party Congress, the entire stretch of road where the project was implemented is adorned with a sea of red flags, creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere. It has become a favorite photo spot for youth and local residents, helping to spread national pride and love for the homeland, especially among the younger generation, and more broadly among the people of Dong Nai,” Tien stated.
