Dong Nai Provincial Police launch operations to protect the first provincial Party Congress

On the morning of September 26, Dong Nai Provincial Police Department held a launch ceremony to protect the first provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term.

At the ceremony, Colonel Duong Van Manh, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police Department, stated: The first Dong Nai provincial Party congress, for the 2025-2030 term, is a major political event of special significance for the province in the new period. The congress will take place on September 29 and 30, 2025.

The congress is held in a joyous spirit of the entire Party, army, and people while commemorating major national holidays. This is the first congress after the provincial merger and the implementation of the two-tier local government model. The event also marks a new development phase, with the goal of building Dong Nai into a green, civilized, modern province, advancing with the whole country into a new era.

To contribute to the overall success of the congress, in its role as the lead unit in ensuring public security and order, the provincial Police coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to issue and implement Plan No. 1094/KHPH-CA-QS dated September 22, 2025 to ensure public security, order, and absolute safety for the first Dong Nai provincial Party Congress.

The provincial police and military forces identified the task of ensuring public security and order as a key mission, a political responsibility, and a matter of honor for all officers and soldiers.

The highest goal is to maintain political stability, ensure absolute security and safety for all congress activities, and prevent any incidents from affecting the progress, content, and agenda of the congress.

In his directive speech at the launch ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested: The police force coordinate with the provincial military to maintain the highest level of focus on ensuring security proactively, absolutely preventing any sudden or unexpected incidents from happening in all situations.

It is necessary to maximize the role of core units in advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to comprehensively and promptly direct tasks and measures to ensure security and order, absolutely protect key targets, congress activities, delegates, and guests attending the congress.

Close coordination is required between police and military forces in deploying synchronized and unified measures, focusing on grasping the situation, proactively acting  early and from afar, exchanging information on the plots and activities of hostile, reactionary, extremist, and criminal forces to prevent, combat, and promptly handle sabotage or public order disturbances affecting the preparation and organization of the congress.

Ensuring information security, and protecting national information infrastructure in the province are essential to support the congress, promptly refute wrong views and misinformation, and prevent sabotage of the congress.

Close coordination is expected across all levels and sectors, mobilizing the entire political system and available resources, including local personnel at the grassroots level, to strengthen security, proactively detect and effectively combat crimes and legal violations, ensuring a safe environment for socio-economic activities before, during, and after the congress throughout the province.

There’s a need to strengthen state management of social order and safety; arrange traffic police and military escorts to ensure traffic order and safety in the province to support the congress.

Comrade Vo Tan Duc requested: Mobilization of forces, vehicles, and organization must be reasonable and effective; the launch and deployment must both demonstrate the highest determination and political will, and strongly display force, associated with ensuring safety to support socio-economic and daily activities of residents.

Maximizing the role and responsibility of unit and local leaders; and clearly defining tasks and political requirements must receive attention. Each officer and soldier must uphold spirit and responsibility to join hands with Party committees, authorities, and the people to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Following the directives of the provincial leadership, Major General Nguyen Duc Hai requested: Starting from 8:00 on September 26, 2025, heads of professional departments, chiefs of ward and commune police, and heads of the police stations must effectively organize command, strictly direct, mobilize maximum forces and vehicles, to simultaneously launch operations to ensure public security and order. The highest goal is to absolutely ensure the safety of the first Dong Nai provincial Party congress according to the set plan.

After the launch ceremony, specialized units of the provincial police organized a parade to display their strength along several streets in central wards: Tran Bien, Tam Hiep, Long Binh, among others.
